Panama Hacienda La Esmeralda Trapiche Geisha Lot 4 ANB
Cherry

Red Fruit
Hacienda La Esmeralda is world-renowned for bringing the Gesha variety to the forefront of the coffee industry. It won the 2004 Best of Panama (BoP) competition with the first Geisha to be entered into the BoP, setting a record that year for the highest price ever paid for coffee at auction.
After many decades of producing coffee, the Petersons' Geisha continues to set the bar for the classic Geisha profile: florals, stone fruits and complex sweetness. This lot comes from the Trapiche farm in the Canas Verdes region of Boquete. The Trapiche has the longer fermentation of 10 days and displays a more fruit-forward cup full of orange, red and purple fruit. Expect notes of cherry, stone fruit, and prunes.
