Thailand - Doi Saket (N)
Thailand is making waves as an up and coming specialty producing nation, and for good reason. This particular coffee is from the oldest coffee growing area called Doi Saket, in the Chiang Mai region. This particular lot went through an "in-cherry fermentation", extending the anaerobic fermentation process, making this a funky and fruity cup. A complex coffee, it displays notes of red fruits like cherries, purple fruits like plums and berries, finishing with a boozy, sweet chocolate. Fantastic as an espresso or filter, this an expressive and fruit forward example of a Purple Coffee.
