The farm has a modest 2300 production trees with another 1050 being planted in 2021, ready for production in 2027. This particular lot from Naji was processed as an anaerobic natural with a fermentation time of 7 days. Expect notes of dried fruits, stone fruit and a deep candy-like sweetness.

On par with some of the best central American coffees out there

I've had some mind blowing Yemeni coffee in the US 5 years (from a roaster friend who started a company called Port of Mokha) but I hadn't had good Yemeni coffee ever since and had completely given up on Yemeni coffee until I tried this.

Unlike your typical Anaerobic coffee, there is far more complexity in this coffee. Yes you get that pleasant fruity acidity from the anaerobic process, but there's also more layers of flavor on the back of your mouth after each sip. This is significantly more discernable when you enjoy the coffee around the 48-52 degrees mark (I use an Amber mug to try and monitor and taste different temperature ranges).

I will definitely be having this coffee again. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

COFFEE BY COLOUR

Colour can intuitively communicate
how coffee tastes.

At THREE we communicate how our coffees taste through colour. We have grouped all of the
coffees we offer into three different colour groups, based on their sensory characteristics. This
makes it easy for you to find coffees you like.
